Ipod Integration Woth Oem Stereo Nnbs

I have been doing some research in an effort to find the best iPod adaptor for my 2007.5 2500HD with non-Nav. I don't have a CD changer, just the single CD Head Unit. What adapter works the best, I have seen good reviews and I am leaning toward the PAC unit, but I was wondering if the PAL unit had been released yet. Also, what part numbers are correct for my vehicle, sometimes the app guides are flaky because a lot of them want to show classic accessories for my truck instead of NNBS stuff. Should I be plugging in 08 instead of 07, and is there a difference between 07.5 and 08 stuff?

Also, I have a 160 GB Ipod classic and I have heard there might be some compatibility issues with non-factory iPod accessories, has anyone got any info regarding this?
