I picked this exact system up from this seller for what I think was a great price. $300 + $49 ship. It list for $900 on the GM Performance parts webpage.

It arrived brand new in the box and the muffler was even polished!! I wanted to stick with a GM Performance system if I could as I had bad luck with my last "after market" generic exhaust system. I am getting it installed next Monday at my local dealer while my truck is there getting an oil change. $60 to install it is not a bad price and they can reset the computer as well. If anyone is interested, the one above is was still available to buy at the time I posted this.

I will post something with pics and how it sounds after it is installed.

great purchase!!! You will be happy with it. I purchase the GMPP Touring system for my 07 Sierra and love it. It is the best $375 I spent on the truck.

Why does the computer need to be reset?

So it can relearn how the engine performs with the new mods done to the engine. It will perform better if you do this.

It relearns anyway, just takes a day or so longer.

Just bought the other one. I have been wanting this since I bought my truck a year a go. The lowest I could get my local dealership to was $750! I can't wait to put this on. Thanks for showing us Jim, you saved me a hell of a chunk of change!

That is a good deal. The only difference between the sport and touring is muffler length. Both systems are staright through. The sport will be a little louder.

I am very interested and have been looking at a kit like this for a long time but I do a large amount of highway driving and do not want the drone on the highway...everyone that just installed it have you experienced a loud drone while driving? Thanks for the input

does gm make a dual pipe touring? the only duals i can find are performance. i like the sound of the touring, but i like the dual look

I personally did not care if it was dual exhaust or not. I just wanted to replace the stock system and for this price, I was able to stay with a GM Performance system for 1/3 less than MSRP..

I will comment on the sound next week after it is installed. I also am hoping its not loud inside the cab as I have a 15 month old daughter..

Anytime you get rid of the restricted factory exhaust, you will for sure see better gas mileage and performance.

I know when I have replaced my factory system in the past on vehicles, I have always seen improvement in both area's..

Will it be significant, probably not.. But you will see some..

PS: I have also added a K&N air filter..
