Alright..... does anybody know how much watt a regular 194 bulb takes?

 

Ive read it takes 4 watts for that little bulb....

 

4 - Cargo / 3rd Brake Light

2 - Front Signals

6 - Dash

2 - Floor

2 - Door

3 - Almost same thing behind Heater controls

 

So a Extra 76 Watts / 6.3 Amps but most of the time driving in traffic i would have a extra 52 Watts / 4.3 Amps that my alternator wouldnt have to produce....

 

Not only that but they would look awesome!!!! btw i based this all on a 4 Watt Draw but how would i find out how much these take or does anybody know?

idk there are so many benifts of LED's

 

Truck Charges Faster...

Alternator Is Used Less - Gaining More MPG's....

Alternator Lasts Longer....

Bulbs Last Longer....

Bulbs Are Brighter....

Dont Get As Hot, So they Dont Leave "Burn" Marks Inside Bulbs...

Look Nicer...

 

My Alternator Makes 105 Amps / 1360 Watts

 

If i replaced Every Bulb in my Truck to LED i would use 300 Watts less which is quite alot... thats like buying a high output alternator...(25 Amps Extra)

 

and can be done for about 100 bucks and they last almost a life time

just a little update...

 

I replaced:

 

2 - License Plate Lamps - WLED x 4 - White

2 - Door Lights - WLED x 4 - Red

2 - Floor Lights - WLED x 5 - Red

1 - Dome Light - Festoon (44x10mm) x 9 - Red

 

And i have ordered 6 - WLED x 5 For dash and 4 - T1.5's in Red for Heater Controls.....

 

After that i am going to the the corner lens in front and put in a electronic flasher so i dont have speedy blinkers :)

I buy all teh filters for  our three vehicles once or twice a year. Have always run NAPA Gold on everything I own....I buy it thru my Son's account for his business-which he has a Heavy Equipment repair shop-one reason he uses NAPA so much-they have such a full line of coverage for just about anything/anywhere- He gets s  good discount because of volume bought.       Thanks; I looked there a few minutes, and I think I can find something. I really never looked there, as I thought it was stuff like PTO/aftermarket bodies/accessories like snow plows.

      This is a 1/2 ton thing ONLY.  All HDs 2020-2026 have the two speed transfer case, with Autotrac as an option.     1/2 tons 2019-2026, regular 4x4s come with a single speed case (no 4LO!), and trucks with Z71 ordered, or all Trail Boss trucks come with the 2 speed case.  2 speed case is also an option on WT, and is also standard on High Country.

      2013 5.3 still to this day calls for the PF48 filter.  Which as a 15psi bypass pressure.     There is a TSB, 17-NA-157 that talks about the PF-63 and PF-64 filters which have a higher bypass rating of 22psi.    TSB HERE - temp.xml   "Beginning in 2012, the oil pumps began to regulate main gallery feedback instead of pump out pressure. This means that the oil pump now does not begin to regulate until pressure is built up to the main gallery. This change reduces the amount of time it takes to provide oil to the engine bearing and lifters during extreme cold start conditions.  Main gallery feedback oil pump control systems are present on the following engine families which use Spin-on oil filters: Small Gas Engine (SGE), Large Gas Engine (LGE), High Feature (HFV6) Gen2 and Small Block Gen5 gasoline engines. These engines with the main gallery feedback oil pump control systems are factory built with an ACDelco® oil filters"   It also calls out what engines use those filters.  The gen 4 small blocks were not on that list (LMG, LC9, L9H, L92, L94, L20, L96).  Gen 5 small blocks use the higher pressure filter.          That all said...   Your 7045 Napa filter is the PF63 equivalent, with 22psi bypass.  You are already using the higher bypass pressure filter.  You CAN keep using it, you don't technically have to use it though.
