cooling system LS1

Installed the powerstat 160 last sat and was confused as to how the system worked. Thermostat on the intake? With the bypass and other ducting I was on the edge of ordering another water pump so I could take it apart. Could someone explain or give me a Web site with info in this (to me) new design. If you went to www.corvetteforum.com and enter the C5 Forum there are probably folks there who can answer this.  The Corvette guys are much more into the mechanicals on this new stuff.

Myself, I don't know if it's reverse-flow cooling like LT1 or not, but I do know that they are quite different..
