Modding My Hd

Hello everyone im a new HD owner and a new driver for that matter. IVe got a 2003 Sivlerado HD 4x2 but c'mon i cant leave it stock . So i started this thread to get suggestions as to what i should do and to keep everyone updated. Heres my truck when i got it:

As you can see, its a 2500hd ext cab short bed. All stock except for a Husky tool box, Rhino bed liner and Bridgeston Dueller 285s.

What I've done:

Heres what ive done since i got it: Replaced both bumpers with Frontier Xtreme on the front and Frontier Diamondback on the rear and added Flowmaster Super 40 duals with 4x18" SS Tips.

 

I plan on soon getting a low rise black tool box, PIAA fog lights mounted up front, a 4" CST spindle lift with 2" blocks on the back. Im either getting 35" Toyo MTs, BFG MT KM2s, or Nitto Mud Grapplers on 18 or 20" KMC Rockstars in black. Any comments or suggestion will be appreciated and i'll keep this updated with pics.

I'm not a fan of your bumpers. Look like something welded up in high-school shop class.

They are Frontier Bumper replacements. www.frontier-gear.com The front was $775 and the rear was $475, but ive got some hookups so i got them discounted

Looks great so far, and welcome to the site. I like the bumpers a lot. I'm not a fan of Rockstars at ALL, but if you like 'em, go for it.

 

As far as suggestions go, I'd de-badge the doors and tailgate, color-match the door and tailgate handles, tint the windows if they're not already, and put some lights on the front bumper.

I am thinking about the CST Spindles for my HD.....how difficult are they to install, and how does the truck ride with them???

Nice! I like what you have done, have you thought about adding a cold air intake? If so I can help, I have a small performance shop up here in MN, I mostly deal with cold air intake systems and programmers, trying to offer them at the best price, my best seller is for 5.3, 6.0, 6.6 duramax, so far on the gas 5.3 & 6.0 been seeing 3-4 mpg gain, and around 13 hp gain, that makes people If you ever need anything just let me know. our website is www.billscustomintakes.com.
