Hypertech Vs Tune

Are Hypertech's worth it or is a tune a better route from someone like Wait4me?

I am looking for more power for towing and will eventually be going to 285 tires.

Definately the tune. Hypertech has a lot of adjustablity you can do on the fly, but for real power gains and what you really want Id do a tune

Definatley recomend something custom, when i decided to get one, I hit the track with the tuner and he showed me his tune was much quicker than the ole superchips handheld i USED to have! better fuel economy too!

No question a tune. I've had them both and it's not even close. Or if you have the $$$, go with ELILive or HPTuners and you can have it all.

Go with a custom tune if u wanna to see better results. IMO don't go with a Wait4Me tune, go with Black Bear Performance tune.

Go with the tune! i had the Hypertech Maxx Engery when it first came out. it was coo and all but shitty at the same time... every time you have to take it in to the dealer ship be prepared to take it off your PCM and return it to stock. cuz if they see it when they run a PCM scan...one word.... GONE! and all your stuck with is a stock Hypertech witch is worth shit. go with a tune much better for you and your truck. i got a big bear proformence and man... one word rumff!

No doubt go with a custom tune... Can't beat the price, most are $100 less then the handhelds.
