ok i found a pair of wheels for my 2008 sierra and was wondering if a set of 22 x 10 will fit and if i am correct the stock 20" wheels are 20 x8.5 ?

what is the difference??

The difference is the diameter. You are going to have to buy tires for the 22's. Because they are reasonably wide you should go with something like 285/40/22's or 305/40/22's or bigger.

EDIT: Your truck has more than enough clearance to bolt on 22's.  The only thing you need to worry about is making sure the lug pattern matches.  The pattern for your truck is 6 x 5.5.

A pair? Your truck only requires 2 wheels? :D

Maybe he is going to put 22's on the rear and 20's on the front, now that would be GAY. :D

:D hahahah funny ok i meant a set now.

HAHA! Those guys are vultures huh? Oh, wait... so am I!

22s will fit diameter wise. Make sure the offset is correct for your truck though. It's even more important not to have the stick out too far when you go with such a heavy wheel. (22s are heavy dogs)
