99 Suburban

I found a 1999 Suburban drive-line( Engine, Trans, ECU, etc...) in the paper. What is the specs on the Vortec 5.7 on that year. Also What auto trans did they use?

The '99 Suburban was based on the "Classic" GM chassis, '88 -'99 rather than '99+

It should have the Vortec 5.7 putting out about 250 HP, although I forget the exact HP and torque.  Auto tranny is a 4L60E or 4L80E, which is a pretty tough tranny.  If it's a half-ton chassis it's most likely the 4L60E, which is lighter duty but consumes less power, thereby producing better fuel economy.

The thing to watch out for is the OBDII ECU.  This ECU is "pickier" than early ECUs, make sure you get the computer and all the wiring necessary.  You'll need dual O2 sensors, etc to make it work properly.
