Pickup Vs Semi - Wow

We had a bad accident down in this area the other day, and I do not believe I have ever seen a pickup as mangled as this one was. From the wheels, I think it was a Dodge. Believe it or not, the worst injury was to the semi driver. All the kids are going to be ok. They are saying the trucker never braked, and may have had passed out. The road was pretty flat and straight at the point.

I also will post a photo of a fishing friend who had a bad one coming home from fishing with his girlfriend. She got the worst of it, but will be fine. The other pickup ran off the shoulder, corrected and hit them head-on. Notice the other pickups front wheel and axle embedded in the ford's front end.

The truck looked like a GMT-800 to me. Maybe a 3/4 ton.

The truck in the link is a Chevy (2500 looks like it has 8 lugs)

Yeah the truck on the other page is a GM 3/4 ton, the one on this page looks like an F150 Supercrew.

Thankful that nobody was seriously injured. The big yellow school bus is definately something we are all going to have to keep an eye on, as school will be starting in a couple of weeks.
