Ipod Hookup And Charger

I have been looking through old threads and thoughts. Seems many people putting in Aux hookups for ipods are doing it with Nav or 1 of 3 other aftermarket brands.

 

I have a 06 Silverado LT2 with Bose, Factory XM, 6 disc in-dash and Rear audio controls. I would like to keep all of these when adding the iPod hookup. I am somewhat lost as where to go. With the USA spec, perriphrial(sp) and P.I.E. equipment.

 

I am looking for something that I am not going to going to break the bank but something that will have decent sound quality. I also want to conrol the iPod from the iPod and not the HU. Some have both features but seem you cant scroll through all songs and can only use playlists. I have done the FM transmitter in another vehicle but dont want to venture that way.

Looking to keep current factory features

Charge iPod

Scroll through all songs on iPod

 

Sorry for the ramblings and if this is a question thats been answered before. Just cant find the answers.

I have the Peripheral iSimple, and it does everything on your list in my truck, but I don't have XM or the rear controls. The iSimple still allows normal use of the ipod controls.
