Well, ever since vacation in may my car has been riding rough, I figured I damaged a tire since my wheels look alright. A coworker called me when I was driving home, he was behind me and noctied the wheel looked bad. I just jacked it up and notcied this:(see pic below)......how much time do I have lefts, its about at the wear bar so I'm going to need tires anyway.

My initial thought was that the tire was under-inflated. From that view, it's hard to tell. But, is that a bulge, along the inside of the tire? If so, I wouldn't risk driving it a whole heck of a long time. Your safety is worth more than replacing the tire early.

Belt is blown. I would not ride on this tire at all. Its a time bomb waiting to peel off and cause damage or put your life or another in danger.

A blowout is headed your way. I wouldn't highway drive it at all. Around town it might hold up for a few more days... or even longer.

It was bad when I pulled into the neighborhood. Crap it's gonna rain, I'll have the drive the Vette and get it dirty.....NAH, I'll just put the Olds in Gimp mode on the doughnut spare

Yep, what they all said. Time for new tire(s). That be a blow out waiting to happen just around the corner.

Have you checked the status of your car and life insurance?

That tire does look weird in the photo at least.

Those look like Bridgestone Insignia tires. Are they? If so get rid of them now. They are horrible tires.

NO they were on the car when I got it, they did great up until that vacation. I think they were old Pep Boys ones..."futura"

I want Kumho KR21's but the soonest I can get them anywhere(even tire rack) is mid next week. So I'm gonna bite the bullet and get the rated-slightly-better-but-costs-plenty-more Pirelli P4 seasons, $99 a tire at the local hibdon tires plus, installed and taxes is like 250. Only getting two, the ones on front are okay, one is a lot newer than the rest but the same tire brand/style

I just threw the spare on the olds....that tire store is open on monday. I'll rough it on the doughnut the next few days if the weather man is convinced it will rain tomorrow....and corrected my post stating I'll get the C4 dirty
