Radio Aux Defective?!

Finally broke down and purchased my first iPod.

It's been a week and so far I've had problems occasionally with what seems to be a defective aux input. The iPod will play music very faintly, can barely hear it, even though the volume on both the iPod and radio are turned up. I know it's the radio cause I tried it in my g/f's aux input on her radio right after and it works fine. It's been intermittent, but now I can't get it to work normally at all. It's a stock radio that came with my LT. Anyone else have this issue?

I have an iPod and never had a problem. Since you stated that you already have the volume all the way up on the iPod, I would agree with your assessment that the problem is with the radio.

No, it's like really low man, can barely hear anything. And like I said, I took the iPod immediately over to another car with an aux input and it was blasting, same song too. It's happened twice to me, first time it went back to normal. I assume it's a bad aux input. Of course I'll go to the stealership and it'll all of a sudden work fine. It's going to be one of those issues.

did you use the same aux chord in both vehicles? cuz i had the wire go out on me and when i swapped it for a new one, the sound was crystal clear and loud as all hell

I am actually going the way of Scosche AXIPGMLAN interface for my iPod. That way I can control it with the radio, steering wheel controls and tuck it away.

Yep, did that too. Nothing.
