New Exhaust Getting Installed Thursday...i Have A Question Though.

Like I said, I am having a exhaust put in on Thursday morning...I was quoted $160 for 40 Series Flow and a 3.5" tip. (On my truck, the 4" was going to look too big I think....). He said I could keep the current piping (minus tip and muffler, obviously...) for the quoted price of 160, or more $$ for new piping.

Are there any pros/cons for keeping stock piping in there as opposed to getting new stuff?

I am doing a single in, single out.

Thanks!

I just had the muffler swapped out mine, everything else looked good to me.

So that saved me a few $$$

Unless he is doing mandrel bent piping, you should keep the stock stuff.

Not a bad deal.

No cons at all, the stock piping is just fine. Unless you're laying down major horsepower, Mandrel bends will not benefit you at all.
