Tires Fitment And Ride Questions

Hi folks...I am considering getting this wheel combo package and I have a few questions. Firstly, the rims are Boss 330 (20X8.5) and the tires are 295/45/20. The truck they would be going on is a 2003 Chev Silverado 1500 4X4 Ext Cab with stock 245/75/16 rubber right now. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida...arge/63.jpgHere are my questions:1) Will there be any rubbing/clearance issues with a tire having a 295 width?2) Going down to a 45 profile tire from a 75 profile, will this adversely effect the ride comfort at all (in terms of a really rough ride)?3) Going down to a 45 profile tire from a 75 profile, will this improve the handling at all?4) Do you think this wheel tire combo will look good on my truck?

Good choice of wheel! I really want to buy those as well but in a 22''. My question to you, Is there a specific reason for the 295-45? I usually see the stock height 4x4s run the 275-55. Anyways, I had 275-55s on my 2WD '05 Silvy with GM Performance wheels. With that offset and backspacing the front tires just barely grazed the sway bar, nothing serious. I'd have to look into the offset and specs of the Boss 330 and compare. I think you will notice a change in comfort with the 45 series. You will feel a little more of the road. I also believe you will see an improvement with the 295. It should handle and corner a little better. Do you plan on lifting it or keeping it stock height?

Thank you for the feedback. The 295/45 is actually what the company is offering with their combo, not by choice of myself. I was actually wondering whether 45 profile would be a little rough. 275/55 sounds a bit more comfortable now that you mention it.
