I have a 2004 Sierra 2500 LD 4wd.

I recently got 3 Inch blocks put on the back. When I went to the Goodyear place they told me that i needed new shocks.. They told me to get "4 inch Rancho Shocks"(just on the back) So i purchased them, the truck has good flex and rides good offroad but on road it is pretty bumpy and uncomfortable. What have i done wrong..Im also is getting a leveling kit soon. After this.. what kind of shocks should i put in the front. Any recommendations?

if you are gonna add a leveling kit.. the ride will get rougher... because it will be tightening the torsion bars... which makes the ride stiffer. On the rear issue... lifting a truck in the suspension area always hurts the ride quality. I have edelbrock gas shocks on my big truck... and the ride is bumpy and rough at times... no way around it when you modify a vehicle. What kind of rancho shocks did you get? model wise... alot of their shocks are geared toward offroad performance.. and when doing that they have to make a sacrifice to on road quality.

Front shock recommendations ... id go wtih a Fox shock... if you got some extra coin layin around.. if not.. id go with procomp shocks.
