50,000 Mile Service Question

I hope I'm posting this in the right area, apologies if I haven't.

I have a 2006 Trailblazer EXT and am coming up on 50,000 miles. I plan on taking it in to get it serviced with an Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and General Inspection. I noticed that the manual suggests that I also get the Automatic Transmission Fluid & Filter changed and also the Transfer Case Fluid...

My question is, in the almost 3 years that I have owned the car, I don't think I have ever used 4-Wheel Drive option (maybe once). Should I still change this anyway?

Is there any other service that I need/don't need?

Any information would be great, thanks.

Yes. Not using it does not mean that the fluid is not being contaminated, etc.

By the way, use it once in a while whether you need it or not. Use the Auto setting rather than locking in high range. It won't hurt anything and will ensure that it's there when you need it.

Thanks for the response. Any idea as to how much I should be expecting to pay for my mechanic to do this? Is there a speific type of fluid I should make sure they use?
