Clock Spring Replacement

Greetings,

Newbie member here w/ a 2006 Chevy 2500HD Allison/Duramax Extended Cab/Short bed and I am attempting to replace my stock steering wheel with one that has the DIC and radio controls. I have read all of the forums, purchased the proper steering wheel and corresponding clock spring. I started the job this weekend, pulled everything off the column and studied the connections I was going to be making. I started to disconnected from the top and disconnected the first of (2) wire harnesses on the ignition. I can not seem to figure out how to remove/disconnected the key sensor harness ('L' shaped, two-lead harness, containing the 'spring ball' contact switch).

Does anyone know the trick to removing this connector? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
