Fab Tech 1" Blocks

I noticed that a couple of you went with the Fab Tech 1" lift blocks to go along with the RC leveling kit. I have an 08 Sierra with the All Terrain package. Will the 1" block work with the stock Ranchos? Also what size U bolts will I need? Any good online suppliers?

Don't just buy a 1" block and stack it with the stock block, get a 2" block. Stacking blocks isn't the safest thing to do, and a 2" block is barely more expensive than a 1". There's really no reason to stack them. And the stock shocks can handle the extra 1" just fine.

As far as u-bolt length goes, measure the stock ones, and go 1" longer.

+1 Don't stack blocks at all. If you looking to raise the rear by an inch, remove the factory block and replace it with a 2 inch block instead. Truxxx makes a 2 inch block that comes with new u-bolts and cost around $120.

Yeah I probably should have clarified. REMOVE the factory block and put the 2" block in it's place. :)

Got it...thanks...Haven't seen just a 2" block with u-bolts yet...I'll keep searching the net.

If you refering to the Truxxx website, you won't find it on there. You have to call the 888 number on the top of the page and tell them you want to buy just the rear blocks and u-bolts.
