I want to remove the blocks from my NBS 2wd and have read here that you should always replace U-bolts so I figured its cheap insurance. Is there anything else I need besides new bolts? Thank you.

Honestly, If you are removing the factory block, I'd just reinstall the OEM bolts. A simple uninstall and reinstall is no biggie.

I've never seen anybody replace the ubolts unless they didn't fit the new setup. (which is common). Most any decent parts house will stock them. Get bolts AND nuts along with washers and such. Nothing worse than getting under there with the truck all apart and finding out the nuts are a different size or thread!

EDIT: Jegs.com, and Summitracing.com or even JCwhitney.com would have them too.

Just take one of your old u-bolt's to any spring shop. Tell them how much shorter/longer and they should be able to whip them up. I do them while the customer waits.

+1 I got a set of u-bolts made in about 10 minutes.
