I am a Logistics Manager for a machining company that makes different engine and drivetrain parts for GM and other auto makers.

Sorry we dont do a lot of SPO parts, 90% of our work is assembly line parts, 9.9% is scrap and .1% are for SPO. Unless assembly takes parts out for dealership repair, but we machine and ship according to production. I think a lot of our parts ( bearing caps, trans gears) would be cause to replace the whole tranny not just 1 part.
