Gm Frame Knockouts

New to this site, so if there is a search area for a topic already covered....my apologies.

 

My Dad has a 1998 C20 that has never had the front end aligned. Had one of his grandsons replace tie rod ends, pittman, idler, etc. Don't know what all they replaced for sure.

 

Alignment shop wants $50.00 for alignment unless it has never been aligned. They have to remove the knockouts in the frame to install the camber/caster kits.

 

Does anyone know of a site with illustrations of this process? My Dad is in his 70's and can't understand why they want another $80.00 just to perform this extra service.
