Cst Front Spindles

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra, Crew Cab, 2WD. I've been researching a cost-efficient way to lift my truck to a reasonable and level height. Here's what I'm thinking of doing in the next few months. Let me know what you think.

 

CST 4.5" Front (only) Spindle Kit, which comes with extended brake lines and coil over spacers

Ready Lift 3" Rear Lift Blocks

 

First of all, I'm far from a mechanic, so I will be paying someone to install it...will I have to do any additional modifications to the truck?

Secondly, the lift will allow me to run my stock 20" wheels and 275/65R20 tires...but will it look odd without bigger tires?

Lastly, how close to level will this put me?

 

I appreciate any and all honest feedback. I'm just an amateur looking for some experienced advice.

Pardon my stupidity, the stock tires are 275/55R20...not 275/65R20.

Spindle lifts are pretty straightforward installations. Basically all you need to do is install the parts and extend any lines and wiring.

 

4.5 inch lift will look pretty odd with stock tires. Larger rubber is necessary to complete the look. Much larger tires will then mean reprogramming for them too. A 3 inch lift looks good and doesn't come with nearly as many issues. Go look at Fabtech. I've run their stuff on two trucks with great success.

I figured I'd need some more rubber. I was hoping to make the transformation in phases...lift it...then get some tires...then get some wheels. I guess I should just go for it.
