One of my friends is so pro Honda automobiles, she had the nerve to say that the Ridgeline is a better truck then a 2500. I almost crapped and pissed myself with laughter. She claimed that the ridgeline could pull just as much as my truck could.

 

Then I tried to explain to her that the ridgeline is basically built off of a small SUV frame, and it there was some possible way to hook up my plow on it, that the ridgeline would most likely fall apart from the weight.

 

Oh how she makes me laugh hard sometimes.

Tell her it has a V6, and Vtec doesn't get a load moving from a stop light...then backhand her and tell her your the mail man. It makes no since, and should make things awkward. With the both of you not knowing what is going on, begin to make out with her, and attempt to mate.

Yuo have to blame the auto-critics that call the Ridgeline a 'truck'. Most people don't really know the difference.

 

I did find it funny though that she thought a Ridgeline could tow as much as a 2500.... ;)

You have to admit, the storage area in the bed is pretty cool.

 

At least she likes trucks, or ones that look similar to real trucks.

haha and this is just IMO....

 

But I was at the dealer yesterday looking at some used stuff and I saw on 2007 Ridgeline going to 20k and a 05 Avalanche with twice as many miles going for 16k... I think it would be a no brainer for me if I had to choose one or the other... I'd be pimpin in an avalanche..

 

And by far the avalanche was more attractive..

Dude, a honda civic can out pull any GM truck out there. Its been proven. So of course a ridgeline is better.

I will say, I like the look of the front end. That's it though. Freaking minivan with a pathetic excuse for a bed.

Now don't get too snappy with those remarks. The H1 is IRS and its a pretty nice for off-road. I'm not saying its the best but its pretty good.

Funny you mention the civic, she is convinced if her civic had a hitch it would be able to tow my landscape trailer, loaded! She doesn't have a ridgeline, but just bought a crv. She's one of those "Hondas have excellent resale value people plus". I think if she was able to afford a GM truck she would have a much different opinion. Oh and when I told her about the Camaro SS I was getting, you know the 422 hp, 408 tq, she went on about how her 18 year old del sol would beat it, or something. She should really consider a job in stand up comedy, she'd be real good at it.
