Nice. :idiot: I usually wait for it to dry, then scrape as much off the undercarriage as I can with a putty knife or something similar. Crawling under there with the pressure washer isn't fun (it's impossible to not soak yourself, at least with my washer), but that's the price you gotta pay for a little fun. Make sure you clean out the bumper, too, it's amazing how much gets all the way back there.

I have already emailed them and talked to a guy there at SUNCOAST.. he said, sorry its diesel specific...

I said, but I have an Allison too, he said that its not made for the big block. I know, I know, it didn't make sense to me either, but thats what he said. I'm sure that if he thought he could sell 1200.00 worth of parts he would have... he just said sorry. Its for diesels only.

Now, from what I understand, the 2006 and up 8.1's all have the 6 spd? That'd be the ticket. Should be able to get it from GM then wouldn't you think?

Very nice! :idiot: Hopefully Majorleaguebass will take notes.

Just drive in the rain or through puddles whenever you get a chance and it will fall off.

I had clay in between the skid plates and engine for weeks until it rained and it all fell off.

The only place that is tricky is the back bumper just like Dan said. You might have to pressure wash that.

Clay is a bitch to get off so I don't even worry about it and let mother nature give me a hand.

Spent 30 mins at the car wash trying to spray the mud off...like you guys said, getting all that off the bumber is a B*$! After all that spraying, I then took it through the touch free high pressure wash...even then, looks like I'm going to have to take the brush to it tomorrow...but it was well worth it! Can't wait to do it again...it's a good thing I had a nice coat of wax under it to help...

Nice to see some real trucks here. None of this 2wd, we keep it clean as a whistle and waxed up things.

Looks like you had fun. I never wash my truck. I probably have pockets of mud all underneath my truck, but eh, what me worry?

You need 4WD to get muddy? Dammit, I wish I would have known that a couple months ago. Didn't get as muddy as Ulises's truck though. They were fairly small mud puddles, it just required a little more momentum before entering them. Coming out of the puddles onto dry sand was pretty fun though, swinging back and forth until the tires caught enough to go straight. Too bad I didn't take any pictures. To get it off I just used the pressure washer at the car wash and got off what I could, then let the rest fall off from driving through puddles. Don't worry, I'd never do any serious off-roading in my 2WD truck where 4WD would be necessary.

VERY NICE! I like seeing dirt on trucks. I use a powerwasher for mine. I have a wand thats about 5' long. At the end its curved and the jet comes out of the end. I can stand and clean the under carriage and not get wet. I forget where I got it, but I will look around. Then I hope for rain, and lets it clean the rest off.
