Bedliners

I know its probably a stupid question but are the bedliners attached by anything or is it just placed in??

I want to know because i would like to take it out and put a spray-in one in its place..

they just pop in and fit snug around the bed rails.

Start at the back and work up one side then the other.

it's a good idea to replace the drop-in, those can rust out a truck bed like nuthin' else

The looks don't bother me near as much as the way things in the bed fly around slamming into the sides on ever corner from that slick surface.

Ya i know the feeling.. I m always running into town for welding tanks and i try and wedge it in so it wont roll around but no luck.. all you hear is a loud bumping noise across the liner and then BANG! and you get that feeling like OH .... MAN!

I pulled mine out today to clean the dirt and crap out. That made me start thinking about getting the back covered with Line-x. I think I swept 15lbs of dirt out the bed of the truck.

How tuff is the Line-x? I need to have 2 holes drilled in the bed for the drain lines from the rolltop tonneau cover box. So, should the holes be drilled before or after the linex is put on?

Madfish,

Drill the holes befor the install. When the liner is sprayed in it will seal the exposed metal. I am on my second truck with Line-X and would do it again.
