02silveradols Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 I may have to think about selling her. Money is getting really tight and I still owe a alot. What do you guys think shes worth? 2004 Silverado 4x4, 5.3, 3:73, LT3 Package, HD Towing package LOADED! 66,300 miles
DofD Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Hard to say as it varies from area to area. What I would do would be to check out autotrader.com and eBay motors to see what comparable trucks are being listed for.
Draenor Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 ...$13K If he's lucky. It's a tuff market. It was one of dem edumakated guesses....
Bostonsfavson Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 According to Edmunds.com TMV, which I've found to be pretty accurate: Trade-in: $12,308 Private party: $13,559
JoshRDavis.84 Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 +1 for Edmunds.com or try kbb.com (kelly blue book)
Bostonsfavson Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 One Hundred BEEELION dollars! Seems a bit high.
zxcv Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 One Hundred BEEELION dollars! Seems a bit high. It's negotiable
redvett Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Too many miles for a 2004 66000 miles is 18000 more than the average miles. A 04 should bring $14-15K trade-in with average miles. You can have the cleanest vehicle and best maintenance but mileage will kill you. Thats why lease vehicles are pretty much around 10k a year.
02silveradols Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Thanks for the info. I was hoping it would be in the range of 15,000 with all the options it has. The thing is that new trucks are cheap so why bother buying used. There is no way you can buy a loaded truck like this new though for 22,000. I love the options and thats what made my price high when i bought it. Thanks for the replies.
slomo007 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 That's a nice truck but given the today's economy I just don't see you getting much more than 10-12K out of it. The new car discounts are so much that it's killing the resale market. Good luck, I think you're going to need it if you're wanting 15k.
