Actually I think it is the opposite. I would say most of the homes in my area have the white doors/trim. I cant stand the plain look.

Maybe it is the same both places these days. All of the new homes around here are done with white painted trim too. Don't see any wood trim and doors here unless somebody has it custom built that way.

Looking good Ryan. You know, I've been siding new homes for 20+ years, and I think everyone of them, that I've been able to see finished, had the natural wood trim, and doors. I just think it looks so much better than painted trim. The trim in my house is almost 100 years old. That old oak still looks pretty good. Anyhow, keep up the good work.

Got the last of the door up today. Thank god now I have a little bit of trim left and a floor in our front room

Looks great. I grew up remodeling the our house with my dad. I helped with a little bit of everything.

 

The high food and water for your dog is pretty cool. I read that it is better for them.

If you put his bowl on the floor after he is eating he will steal it and run around with it begging for more food. Looks funny like he is looking for a handout.

You replacing all of the doors and trim in the house? Pretty ambitious project.

I did all of the main floor doors. I am keeping upstairs white for now. It goes well with the colors. This was supposed to be my winter project and I am going to be done well before xmas. I am going to need something to keep me busy
