Thats all that i noticed but its 3 in the morning...deer was about a 4 pt spike debated grabbing him since he did **** up my truck but there was a bank right next to it and i figured they would have cameras and with my luck i would get a ticket...not what i want to do so well see what pictures the morning brings.

Dude that sucks about the deer truck. Glad you're ok though, and good to know you weren't drinkin when it happened. Keep us posted on the truck and what kind of damage there is. Hopefully your frame survived.

I have a co-worker who hit two deer in the same month--really messed up the front end of his Suburban. He had it fixed and installed one of those big ol' honking Ranch Hand grille guards. Two weeks later a doe jumped a fence and crashed into the SIDE of his truck. Ya can't win here in Central Texas

No one knows.

There hasn't been one that made it to the other side.

I had run of back luck and hit 4 in 7 yrs from 92-99, 2 with new trucks. Many more near miss's like hit one in the nose with the mirror on the car. One minute the mirror was there and the next it was gone. Fur and snort all over drivers side windows.

In the early 90's, I loaned my 1989 GMC Sierra to a friend of mine's dad for a weekend so he could move (I was unable to help personally, oh darn! ). He hit a deer on the freeway at 65 MPH, he never saw it, so he never hit the brakes. It was a direct hit on the bumper. The only damage was a bent bumper and mounts and a busted grille. NO hood or fender damage. I'd like to see a GMT900 after that same collision.

That sucks. Make sure there is some remnants of the deer on your vehicle or your insurance may question the damage. I've been told that some Insurance companies frown upon deer claims as they can't prove that they hit a deer.

Hope you get your truck fixed today..

no seriously that sucks. I almost hit one on the way home last night, no big deal but what got me was the a**hole behind me nearly plowed into me (18 wheeler)

We have our share of these things in Iowa

I hit one with my 99 a few years ago. It was daylight and he popped up out of a deep ditch (~30ft) He kinda 'merged' into my driver side headlight. Cracked the headlight bracket, but that was it. I was lucky

Good luck with yours
