Got a pic of the cab before going back home from a trip the past 3 days. Man o man cords everywhere

Hey Ryan are both those power outlets or is one a cig' lighter outlet?

 

I ask because I found out the hard way that the cig' outlet can't support the 12V power inverter and I blew the fuse.

 

So I only have one 12V outlet and the other can only support small electronic devices.

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I have a couple of grandparents who aren't in great health myself.

 

As for your mess o' cords, I use an iGo charger with a 2-way iGo splitter and the appropriate tips to charge my iPhone, my iPod, my Bluetooth headset or the woman's phone all with the same cord and up to two at once. I also have their wall charger so I can charge two at a time inside the house as well. I have one of the car units in the truck, the car and the boat.

 

RadioShack carries the chargers and the tips as do some AT&T stores. They can also be found online, obviously.

I have Ipod, GPS, Radar Detector, and the ipod cord going into the radio everyday..

 

except i hard wired one of those 1 into 3 12v splitters tucked up underneath the dash which i plugged all of that stuff to, which freed up all of my outlets again and makes it looks really clean, and gained me my outlets back.

both power there is also one in the glovebox but with all the stuff I have in there I cannot access it

iGO FTW...

 

I have one cord with 3 or 4 tips. Makes life MUCH easier. I also use Radio Shack for all of my iGo stuff.... never went there and didn't find what i need.

 

I have cell, bluetooth head set, TomTom, plus an inverter for my laptop which I plug in on occasion.

 

Last time I went to RS I was impressed with the sheer volume of stuff they had. For a while there, it seemed like the business was going down hill. Looks like they have really tried to update the stores. Service was excellent too.
