I don't know how I ended up there, but I was just messing around yesterday and stumbled on the ToyotaSolutions.com site. I selected the Tundra for the heck of it and found a forum just like this. I started browsing the list and started reading all the problems they are having and many of them are not being fixed by the dealerships.....some big issues as well...tranny, driveshafts, saggy dashboard, tire pressure monitors, tailgate fails, engine knock/exhaust leak, radio replacements, and a few complete vehicle "buybacks"..and more. I got a good laugh out of it. One dude's screen name is "XChevy" and he has had all sorts of problems. I thought about joining the forum and asking if he is ready to come back yet!!! Someone may have already posted a similiar thread in the past, but I thought I would provide a heads up anyway.

Lame. ToyotaSolutions? No such site. Ask Jeff (Vmax2007) what he thinks of TundraSolutions :rolleyes:.

Either way you can go any board and pick out "problem" threads and assume that all the vehicles have problems....for example read the problems I've posted about mine!

It's alright to go to other sites to check up on the competition. You don't have to make up a long drawn out story as to how you ended up there. But to come back here and make a thread about their problems is just plain childish. Kinda like the calvin sticker. I haven't seen one of those in probably close to ten years. Our trucks are far from perfect. I can relate to several of the issues you listed above and then some. The lint collecting seats are rediculious. All the issues above can be fixed and GM can't or won't fix a simple seat cover issue. That to me is laughable.

OH, and BTW, you LOVE to bring up the fact I got banned on TS OVER A YEAR AGO (like every non-Toyota owner does), yet don't you bring up the fact you have been banned several times at PUTC under different usernames. :dunno:

I still frequent both sites. When shopping, I studied the Tundra very closely since it was a front runner for my particular needs and used the tundrasolutions site for a lot of info. GM won my $$ because I preferred their overall design/features/driving/etc., but I still keep up; you never know when you'll be shopping again. Tundra owners seem to be more "anti other brands" than most, but that's probably because they're in such a minority and have to deal with some "anti american" harassment. I LIKE competition, and would rather not see GM owners bashing the others.

True, but there are very few threads/posts slamming Toyota on this site, especially compared to TS. Just about every thread has at least one slam against GM/Ford/Dodge. They even fight amongst themselves whenever someone with an issue posts about it, and if he/she is a new member, they are automatically deemed Trolls. It is pretty pathetic.

 

Now ToyotaNation? (Dana_15's site) It is MUCH better.

 

With that said, I like the fact we rarely bring up/slam the competition here. I would prefer that we never did. But even when we do, it's usually Ford (not me personally, cuz I have no problem with Ford).

 

This is a GM site, let's keep it about GM's....OK? :dunno:
