I was looking on this website and I found some lights that im likely going to buy once I make sure that company is still in business. I had questions about how some of you wired them and how well the fit. Granted there going to be different from body style to body style but I just wanna make sure there a good product before I sink some money into them. So thanks for any help anyone can give me.

It's simple, just bring water to a boil, add rice, turn off and cover for 5 minutes.

Well, Jeff... Look at it this way. If he does that, maybe people won't notice your chrome bug guard so much anymore!

:P

(Sorry, George, not a fan of that style of light.. If you like 'em, though, go for it! :D)

I've seen them on several other websites just nowhere near that cheap for the full set. Google returned multiple pages of results.

dont know about the company for sure, but they should drop in and require a minor adjustment (if any)

got an e-mail back from them and they said the lights dropped in place but im just wondering with all the wires in the back (for the led's and halos) how easy they were to wire up and what people wired them too

Principally, they should have the factory style connections, to where the power is redistributed...kinda like my tails. I cannot access the website to where you linked so I cannot see them (or the backside). If they do not have the factory styled connectors, they may contain a harness that would allow you to hook them up much in the same manner as HIDs. If not, then I recommend you create your own 'harness' (literally build one) and wire it directly into the battery...If you do that, make sure to fuse it properly. That is what I had to do in order to make my tails light up differently from yours.

migicar_2025_27102687.jpg thats how the back looks wires wise. I see how the actual headlights wire up but I don't see how the led lights on the side and the halo's wire up

From the looks of it, I would say to create a master power 'live' wire and a master ground wire and wire from those. I would wire them in parallel to each other, but you can wire them in series (if you dont want to do the math). rule of thumb to determine LED power requirements:

20mA for all colors

Blue, White, Green, Pink, Purple, 3.3V voltage drop.

Yellow, Red, Orange, 2.0V voltage drop.

However, since those LEDs are preinstalled into the assembly, you should be able to simply run a single line for power and a single line for the ground, the LEDs should only draw the power that they need. Hope this helps...

I tapped into the parking lights for the halos and the signals for the LED's. Just make sure you use some heat shrink tubing over any connections you make unless they are already watertight connections.

I was just going to run a switch to the halo's and the led's but that sounds much simpler. I'm not an electrician by any means but i know how to sauder and heat shrink so how do i "tap into" a power and a ground? It might have been covered but just wondering on if its cut open the wire put them together sauder then heat shrink and im good to go? or is there a better, more safe way to do it? thanks again for all your help!
