Message for all

I was hit by that e-mail.  Untortunately I got an e-mail from someone here Tuesday and opened it thinking nothing of it.  If anyone received anything from me it was totally unintentional.  I hope no one got the virus.  Right now me computer at home won't run any .exe programs, so I'm working on trying to fix it.  I was out of town yesterday, and pretty busy at work today, so it will be this evening sometime before I can mess with it.  I did find 13 files infected on my computer and that part was all taken care of (as far I know right now) put I have to work on getting the computer working properly.

Again, I hope no one got the virus from anything that was send by me.  I'm assuming it was one of those virus's that automatically sends stuff out to people in your address book.

If anyone gets e-mail from me with an attachment, please don't open it.  Hopefully you havn't already.

No problem Tom.  These things are going to happen from time to time and it's nobodies fault.

I often wonder if the people that write these viruses actually work for Norton or Symantic!?!?

I think we should still blame it on Tom.  He may actually be a spy from PUTC.

Maybe if we all ban together Merz will take away one of his dots.  We could have a a ceremony during the Wednesday night chat.  Make it just like the old TV show "Branded" where Mervz rips one on the dots off his signature...wav files playing a drum roll.......

LOL.  It's not my fault!  I did not have viral relationships intentionally with this computer!

Looks like my computer is fixed now.  I downloaded the W32.Sircam.Worm@MM Removal tool from symantec.com while at work and ran it at home on my lunch break, and it seems to have fixed it.

I'm really sorry if anyone got this virus from any files that were sent from my computer.
