My New Gmc

Here's a few pics of my new GMC..its an 08, but I got an awesome deal on it. Its an SLE, leather, 5.3, HD towing package, with hitch, XM, So far I'm very impressed, This truck is 10x's nicer than my 03.

I've ordered a soft tonneau cover for it today, thinking about white or chrome door handles, and of course I'm going to need a grille. The 04 SS rims will go on in the spring if the TPM sensors fit. I will need to get the ass out of the sky too.

I think I remember reading that they made rear fender liners for these trucks...or was that a dream??

Very nice, and the first mod is free.....debadge that bitch!!!

:)

Oh, and regarding the rear fender liners...yes, they make them, but the conclusion I have drawn from reading about them is it's better to get some 3M black undercoating and spray them. The liners tend to trap shit behind them.

Nice Truck, What is your plan on getting the A$$ out of the Sky..

Don't know yet...any suggestions? I had 2" shackles on the 03 to drop the back a little, but I tended to blind drivers I followed because it raised the headlights. :D

I'll need to spend time on the truck forums, and do some searching. :)

I went with 2 inch shackles myself from BelTech and I couldn't be happier with the stance. Unless you want to lift the truck, it's really the only option. They even smooth out the ride a little by shifting a small amount of weight to the rear.

+1

I decided against the liners after seeing them and reading reviews. I just 3M undercoated mine. Heres a link to the post HERE

I think the Beltech 2in drop is the way to go. Zembonez did you adjust your headlights after the install or not. I did a 2/4 drop on my 95 and didn't mess with the headlights.

With a drop, SS wheels, and a debadge you truck will look sweet.

Congrats on the new ride.

I didn't adjust the lights. Never did on any of my other trucks either. Nobody flashes their high beams at me and I can see just fine so apparently it didn't make enough difference to bother anybody. All is good. :)
