I have a 05 sierra Z71 5.3 litre with 80k, when auto 4x4 or 4x4 high engaged i can hear and feel a gear whine. Is this normal, if not, is it a warranty issue? Some people say it is normal and others say it isnt. If it is normal, is there anything I could do to stop it from happening ie: synthetic gear oil, thnx dan.
