Tow Hooks

If your talking about the factory tow hooks, very easy, if you have the holes there already.  I would think they are there though.  Just two bolts holding them on.  If your airdam dosn't have the section cut out for the hooks, cutting that part out might actually be the hardest part. :D

I think I've seen a fairly close up pic somewhere.  If I can find it, I'll post it for you.

BTW, welcome to the site!

Replacing tow hooks or adding them is easy.  There is a bolt that runs parrallel to the ground through the hook holding it in place and another bolt that comes straight up from the ground and acts as a sort of set screw to keep it from moving up and down.  Like Tom said trimming the air dam would be the hardest part.  But if you don't have fog lights, I'd say order the fog light kit also (99 dollars) which comes with a new air dam and the holes are gone.  But as for the hooks, the install should be a cinch.  Just email gmpartsdirect for some part numbers.

Thanks Guys. I plan on doing this real soon if the parts aren't ridiculous. This is the only option my truck didn't have that I wanted. The holes are already there.

 Me again! I noticed the local TSC has tow hooks for about 5 bucks apiece. It even shows a 'rado on the front of the box. No instructions are included, so I am wondering if anyone has ever used these and if they mount correctly to the Factory holes.

has ne1 ever even used their tow hooks?

Yep.

Both for pulling and being pulled.  Bad things tend to happen when you aim your truck equipped with stock tires towards mud that you know a tractor is going to have trouble in.   :D

I have a few times.  Two times in one evening, same friend.  :D
