Tossing Around A Couple Of Ideas...

OK, it's been awhile since I added any mods, so I have been thinking it's time to change it up a bit. I am kinda like Jim (Zembonez) and get bored easily. :gmc:

1. Colormatch the hood protector. Since GM has yet to offer one in Steel Gray, I may have to paint mine. Hopefully by spring they will have added Steel Gray to their offerings.

2. I have the std under-the-rail black Line-X in the bed, and am considering getting the colormatched Line-X Extra for the bed rails and having them do my Putco SSTL bed rails as well. Or would black look better since I have a black Access Tonneau cover?

I have until spring to decide as I won't be doing this until then anyway.

Let's here some opinions!

#1 sounds good.

#2 sounds good, except I'd probably leave the rails chrome. Kind of like with black wheels on a truck. If you put the blacked-out rails next to a black tonneau, on top of over-the-rails Line-X, I think it would all just run together.

As much as I don't like the chrome rails, I like painted rails even less, I think it looks EXTREMELY tacky, and reminds me of the painted railings on a playground. :gmc:

Color-matched bug guard sounds... Well, it sounds like something a bunch of us have been suggesting for about a year. :D

Maybe you should be suggesting it to GM Accessories then? If they made one, I would have one. :jester:

I'm one of the few who doesn't even mind the chrome bug shield, but color match could look nice. :D

Noooooo! Keep the chrome bug guard. Then they'll only have me to pick on :gmc:

If you don't have a sense of humor, don't try to be funny, to begin with... You should'a known someone would poke fun at what you said. :gmc:
