Cargo Management System & Spray-in Liner?

Recommended Posts

I read somewhere that you can't have a spray-in bedliner with the Cargo Management System (CMS). Has anyone actually done this? I'm betting it can be done just by using your head some...what's the trick here?

Sure it can. I would remove the CMS rails, place temporary bolts where the CMS bolts were. Spray way. Reinstall. Could also just spray below the rails. Depends on what kind of upper box coverage you'd want. I'm new at this, so I'm just guessing, but I'll bet I'm close.

Thats what I've seen done with trucks,They just remove the rails, spray the liner, reinstall the rails.

It works, I have it!

Did they spray all the way up to the rail?

Do the hooks still fit on the rails?

Is there any problem fitting any other accessories?

Thanks Guys!

There won't be any issues,They totally remove the cargo management system rails and the toggle bolts that bolt them to the bed, spray the liner, then reinstall the rails/bolts.

Everything will be fine. I have cargo management and a Rino liner, they remove the rails and reinstall them when they are done. It won't change anything.

Where minor problems arise with spray-in liners is when not using the rail system. The plastic mounting hole covers will no longer fit. Line-X left mine in place and sprayed directly over them. Said to use a razor blade to score around & pop them out if need to use the holes.

yeah, i just bought my new sierra 2 weeks ago and it came with the line-x bed liner and the cargo management system. didnt get charged for the liner either since it wasnt on the accessories list when i signed for the truck.

and not to high jack the thread, but i have no idea how the cargo man. system works. do i need to buy straps and all that to use it?
