Searching For A New 08 2500 With Gas Engine

I've been searching the southeast for a new 08 GMC or Chevy 2500 CC LT-1 4WD GAS. There are lots of diesels but can't find any gas models. Does anyone know a dealer that has some gas models?

Thanks, Howard

Why not just get a diesel? I know those gassers are priced to sell though!

I could have gotten a gasser exactly like mine for 8000-10k less... I just couldnt do it cause I know that I would regret not getting the diesel! Those caterpillars and bobcats get heavy!

Do you need a 4X4? I agree, new gas 2008 4X4 extended cabs are hard to find. I found a few by searching chevrolet.com, but there are practically none in all of Florida. However, there seem to be a few new '07s left. I know a dealer that had a bout 12 4X2 new gas '07 HD 2500 crew cabs on his lot just a week ago.

I also know where there is a new '07 Sierra 2500 4X4 LT2 extended cab with leather seats, gray in color with the 6.0 gas engine.

There are not many trucks out there in this configuration. I have been looking for the same truck and there aren't any with 200 miles of me. Most of the trucks that are listed on autotrader are not on the dealer lots.

You know this post is funny from the stand point that I was thinking the same thing when I saw the rebates they are doing on the 08 gassers - 9000 - I was thinking about selling my mint 02 HD w/50k for an Ex Cab - when I did a search - I could not locate one within 100 miles of my area.

The more I thought about it - I really love my current truck and it is in like brand new condition anyway - so I think in Feb I will go and buy a new Malibu instead and keep my 02 HD.

Hells yea!

Hope you can find the truck you want. It took me around 3 years to find this truck and still I didn't get it exactly as I wanted. Seems everyone wants fancy trucks now.

Saw one in Ellendale, ND back at Thanksgiving ;-)..........Assuming that's about a million miles away from you since it is in the "middle of nowhere"! No offense to those from ND ( I consider it my 2nd home!)
