08 Countoured Splash Guards..where To Find?

Who makes a good contoured splash guard for the 2008 Chevy truck without fender flares? I don't see crap on ebay (well, all crap actually, no contoured).

Got mine from GM...nice ones, have the bowtie on the rear, price was reasonable.

I was asking for a friend who just bought a dark cherry Silverado 1500 Crew cab. I told him he should put splash guards on to protect the truck. On my 2000 Silverado they really keep the salt and crap out of the lower door seams and protect the rear too. He lives in S. Illinois, so am just trying to hook him up with the best. I thought plain black would look good on his truck, but he has white outlined tires, so white might be a good accent.

I just got a set of Husky mud flaps, and am waiting for the rain, snow and wind to stop so I can put them on. They come with the 3M tape that will protect the paint of the truck where the mudflap is in contact with the metal. But these ones look good, and I am another one who did not want a logo on the flap.

I forgot some people on here can not stand the bowtie. :D GM direct .com has ones for the rear W/O bowtie.

why would I want bowties if i a GMC?

And I think you can get the Huskys for lass then $50 for the set.

While that may be true, shipping can add a bunch to a set of guards. The flea-bay link shows a set of both front and rear guards for $70 and $13 shipping. I checked with one of the forum Supporting Vendors and the same set came to $91 delivered to my address.

I have seen mud guards at my local Chevy dealer that have the bowtie, the word "Chevrolet", and blank ones. There is a Husky version that allows for the installation of a logo that you get from your dealer.

The bottom line is that you will most likely pay anywhere from $75 to $100 for a set of 4 Husky flaps and about the same for the GM versions

I got a set of Weather Tech mud flaps and would recomend them. The price is about what the others are quoting for the Husky and GM ones. There is no logo and no drilling is necessary. It is pretty funny, I got them cheaper through Autogeek.com then directly through the Weather Tech website. Also if you google coupons for Autogeek you might be able to get free shipping as I did. Good luck and Happy New year!! :D

I have a set of the Wether Tech as well. Got mine for a gift but they are about the easiest thing on the planet to install and they look good.

if you are interested in the husky flaps i got mine from http://www.anythingtruck.com/ for $73 shipped. Honestly if GM offered plain molded flaps (you cant get the plain rears for the GMT900) I would have went that route.

Thanks for posting that link. Just ordered a set of Husky flaps for my 08 Silverado. $73.90 delivered for both front and rear.

No problem. There are easy enough to install although I must admit on mine the front holes drilled in the mudflap didnt line up with the factory holes. It was no big deal just drilled a new hole for the fronts. YOu dont see it either because its covered by a washer. you may not have that problem as i didnt hear many people on here complain about it. Install took about an hour.
