I found these while surfing the net the other day. I immediately thought that I HAVE to have these. I and I am sure most other people hate the LS coil valve covers. I've seen some coil relocation kits on here, but this is a lot better by a long shot. As you can see on the link, it's a machined aluminum plate that actually is the valve cover, then you put any perimeter bolt old school SBC valve cover on it to cover the coils. I think this would look absolutely sick. And you've got a little bit of wire hanging out if you want to put MSDs on it or something. I called the company to inquire more about them and here's the kicker.....$650!!!!!!!!!!! ouch! And that's plus valve covers. So if you want a nice set of cast aluminum covers with the raised bowtie and "chevrolet" like the ones I would want, that'll set you back another 250 give or take, and now you're 900 deep....call it a grand shipped said and done. I think that's a bit too much for something that doesn't improve any function. But again, they would look sick. A few answers to questions I asked when I called them, since I am sure others will be wondering also:

How to fill the oil---you will have to remove the SBC valve cover, and there will be a plug screw there and you will have to use a thin funnel.

Breather/vents---The guy that I talked to said that the guy who knows everything about them was on vacation, but he said the vent system "would have to be modified" on the trucks. How or to what extent, he didn't know.

Wires---stock length.

Rockers---only rockers that will clear a factory valve cover. He said you technically could use a spacer, but it probably wouldn't look right given that you would have a SBC valve cover on top of the real valve cover on top of a spacer. He said that the spacer wouldn't match up exactly.

Availability---not yet released, but should start shipping in a month or so.

Well here ya have it folks. What does everybody think? If anybody has the spare change the throw at a set of these....please tell about it and take pics. Another idea depending on how hot these things get in this forum is a group buy. Since these are just coming out it wouldn't hurt the company to get a good amount of sets out there and to start the word of mouth. Any thoughts on the group buy and maybe a price point???
