Mpi To Carb

I have a 99 burban and I was thinking of switching to a carb instead of injection.

The motor is the 5.7 vin R with 175000 mi.

What would it take to switch, and is it even possible with NYS emissions?

OR are there any other alternatives to this style injection?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to change?

Your mileage will suffer and if you have inspections, it will fail.
