2009 Silverado 6.2l, 400 Hp Ftw

Hey everyone!

Due to the wicked deals that GM is giving out, I decided to upgrade to a crew cab and conveniently found a few 6.2L trucks with the options that I wanted. Here are some crappy blackberry photos of the truck sitting at the dealership. Won't be taking delivery until tomorrow as I'm having it accessorized (mudflaps, rock protection, steps, wheel liners, and the upgraded remotes).

The truck is a 2009 LTZ 6.2L / 6 Speed in the new carbon black with a ebony interior. Truck is fully loaded with the exception of the nav system and the rear sliding window.

Immediate mods will be a set of dynatech LT's and a DiabloSport custom tune.

It's kind of a dark charcoal, metallic black. Looks GREAT! I like it a lot more than the old solid black. From a distance it looks black, up close it takes on a very deep charcoal look.

Did you trade in your 2007 Vmax? How much did you get for it and how much did you get the 09 for?

Sold the 2007 Vmax to for 30,000 CAD, picked up the new truck for 42,000 CAD.

Oh ok i think its called black granite metallic. Great buy man. Id love to upgrade mine with all the deals out there but i wouldnt get jack crap for mine bc the new ones are soo cheap. I would end up upside down and thats the last thing i would want.

Sold the 2007 Vmax to for 30,000 CAD, picked up the new truck for 42,000 CAD.

Any idea how that converts to USD?

Roughly 25,000 for the old one and 35,000 for the new one.

30,000 CAD = approx $25,241 US

42,000 CAD = approx $35,338 US

Right now our (CAN) dollar is worth about $.8401 USD so he paid $35,284 for his '09 and traded his '07 in for $25,200 USD. We always seem to get hosed on the price of new vehicles up here. Especially when our dollar increases vs the greenback - this also screws us on trades because of the large number of cars being brought up from the US.

Yeah, the dollar up here really sucks sometime. Luckily I took advantage of the 1 : 1 dollar when I bought my Z06, but fate had to catch up sooner or later, haha.
