2 Months And No Truck Title

I bought my 96 last november so where the hell is my title! I signed it at the stealership and it should be coming in the mail, but i have no idea how long it ususally takes? It doesnt help i have no patience lol

 

 

There better not be a hidden fee anywhere even though i payed "out the door" price

For some reason I can't remember how long it took for me to get it on my last truck

But it feels like i dont own the truck without it haha

In MA, the DMV has 30 days to mail you the new title. I cant imagine it taking longer then that. I would start making some phone calls.

I had a similar experience with my quad,I got tired of waiting and went to the DMV and asked 'em WTF,a PITA to do but I had the title in a couple of weeks.Here in Ca. it's called the pink slip,at one time the paper was pink....

Thanks guys. I will call the dealer tomorrow, and if i dont get any answers i will go straight to te DMV...

Thats a great idea. Most DMVs will do (for a fee) what is called a title search. You bring them all the info on the truck, and proof you own it, and they cancel out the old title and issue you another one. Might be a place to start.
