2008 Yukon Denali Xl Navigation Question

This might sound dumb but here's my question...

 

When I bought my 08 Denali XL the navigation DVD was already in the drive so the first part of my question is where is the DVD drive for the navigation DVD? I hit the eject button on the dash next to the CD player and nothing came out.

 

Next part of the question is I guess the Navigation DVD can't be in there as it loaded a CD and played the CD right away. But now it seems that I have an issue with my Navigation. It works perfectly fine, but when I click the Dest. button it won't let me enter an address anymore. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do in order to fix it?

The nav disc goes in behind the screen. In the nav menus (second button from the top on the right side of the screen), under the nav tab, there should be an option to insert/remove disc. Once pressed, the screen will fold down a eject the disc or ask to insert it.
