Good morning.. how's everybody today?

I thought I'd ask since I've had a good one. I just landed a pretty nice construction loan.. It has been a battle getting everything approved, so I gave them some other options and it all worked out great.

So how are ya'll doin?

My knee is sore like crazy from Physical Terrorism yesterday... I actually took a few stops without my left crutch and my therapist walking with me on the left!!! Thought it felt a little weird at first but at the same time felt good...

Got some friends coming to pick me up, we are going to Buffalo Wild Wings!!! Cant wait!!! Then hopefully I will get to do an oil change on the DMAX... I am sure thats going to be fun! :D

The morning is bleh so far. My left shoulder has been buggered since I slipped on some ice and fell on it so I only get about half a nights good sleep. Then compound that with my daughter having a bad dream and coming in and sleeping with us last night. She's not a peaceful sleeper.

Good luck with the physio there Brian! Remember to take the pain killers before you go! Also good luck with the oil change!

Dan. Did you go visit you ex and she smack you in the mouth? :D

Not bad thus far. I got 30MPG on the way to work, that made me happy. Of course it was in the G6 loaner that the stealership gave me last night. I got my desk cleaned up and some extra work done so I have some time to relax. ERRRR, maybe my morning just went to crap. Just realized that I forgot my lunch on the counter....DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buffalo Wild Wings FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just telling a few friends on Friday night, while at the new BWW here, that I have eaten at that place more times then ANYwhere else. We now have a total of 5. 1 is literally a 1/4 mile from my house, the other 2 are within 10-15 mins and the last 2 are further south, but still only about 30 mins away. Food is good and over 20 beers on tap....can't beat it!

Buffalo Wild Wings is an awesome place! Ours shut down in Texarkana, but there are a few around in other towns.. I stop by one whenever possible!

Yeah man, they are pretty popular. I don't forsee ANY of the ones here closing down. They are ALWAYS packed. Although I will probably go to the newest one more as the crowd is better. The others are in a so-so areas so lots of thugs, ect, ect. I don't feel like dealing with a bunch of idiots fighting over their fav teams and all that jazz. The new one is on the University of Delaware campus so that one should be fine. I went once so far and a majority of the crowd was my age, and FEMALE, haha.

Also, congrats on your loan. Are you building an addition to your home or something?

Haha no that was on purpose. I still feel completely normal goofyness wise, but maybe the painkillers haven't kicked in yet, because MY FACE FAWKING HURTS.

Yeah the two on the right side. They had to drill the f*ck out of the one on the bottom since it was impacted, but the top one came out easy. I was kinda disappointed with the nitrous, didn't really affect me that much, just relaxed me.

I think the worst part other than the needle hitting my jawbone when he injected me with the Novocaine was when they gave me an ibuprofen to swallow. But they had already put something in my mouth to numb it. How the f*ck am I supposed to swallow a pill when my throat is numb? :D

Tell them to turn it up. My dentist knows the routine. They don't give you the full dose unless you let them know the regular dosage isn't working well enough. If your ears aren't ringing, you're getting screwed. :D

    • I have thought an EV might have some practical value in extending the life of the ICE members of ones fleet. Now....I'm convinced of it. I've been letting my better half access Raven (Mitsubishi Mirage) for her needs while Dizzy has been in the shop. Being the fuel freak I am and given the fact Raven is capable of over 60 mpg in clean air on a warm day I was taken back by the wife's ability to take a car that had used a half a tank of gas that to that point had returned a value of 57 mpg and return in with a decimating 51 mpg for that same tank in that same day in a 15 mile round trip of short hop errands and a stop in the drive through at Micky D's.  😱   Trust me on this. It would take the remainder of that tank driven on the highway to return that tank to just 54 mpg. This is not a Mitsubishi issue. This is an ICE issue that is magnified in vehicles capable of such high fuel economy values. On a percentage basis your 1500 does the same thing. Short hopping an ICE consumes a good deal more fuel and in doing so provides zero additional useable outputs. That entire volume of fuel is wasted in diluting the cylinder walls oil films, creating crankcase moisture and acid content and the resultant wear.    Enter the SLATE. All of that is avoided and the ICE's advantage in range and made useful at reduced wear for your ICE!   Kind'a cool.
    • Back in the day people would buy cars based on performance. The charger posted does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. And it’s fully loaded.  It has a decent warranty and will fit most anyone’s needs. Remember the original Hemi? 90 day warranty. 25K mini truck or that car? I’d go with the car. It wouldn’t fit my perimeter. If I could just talk my wife out of her Genesis. It would be perfect for her.
    • Let's pivot this back. Someone said they wanted pictures.   Even better, there's already video. Pre-prod prototypes are already on the road and they're letting the press drive them.   JerryRigEverything did a good review. I really enjoy his content and EV adventures, so I was thrilled when he had the chance to review a Slate:
    • The Charger EV was stillborn. Wrong car at the wrong price for Dodge's intended audience. Now at a good price with fire-sale discounts, and still not selling, it's still very much the wrong car. Again, Dodge's intended audience. I believe a lot of Stellantis' EV blunders were all under Tavares' regime at Stellantis...the board convinced him to move on. Neat car, just wasn't received on the level that would sustain mass production.   Dodge is headed in a better direction for its core business. I didn't think there was anything left to get excited about re: the Durango after its 15 year run, but they're just now releasing a 392 version that should price out in the low 40's. Nicely done. I'm not sure I would touch anything Stellantis makes with a 10' pole these days, but the Durango is still mostly parts designed like 3 parent companies ago so maybe it's still OK?
