Visor?

Have heard that some here are not fans of the visors.  Any have one they like?  Lund or other.  Do you have any good pics.  The ones on Lund's site and everywhere else on the internet suck.  Reccomendations of other brands?  I'm just starting to search and have only seen the Lund.  Dont want the running lights in it.

Thanks

I think they look pretty good, especially the lighted ones.  I think they call the moon visors.  If I find any pics, I'll let you know.  :)

I ordered a Lund Lightened Visor once for an F-150 from the J.C. Whitney Catalog, which stated no drilling into roof panel and I ordered this visor from them, because, I hate drilling into the Roof.  But, when I received the visor from them..the instructions in the box clearly stated DRILL TWO HOLES INTO ROOF OF TRUCK.. J.C. Whitney is still advertising this visor in there catalog as no drilling in roof panel, which is a LIE..Lund clearly states DRILLING (TWO HOLES), plus the side brackets in the frame. So, I sent the Visor back.  I called J.C. Whitney to let them know this, they said it was a print error in their catalog, however, it was a year ago I called and it is still advertised in the catalog as NO DRILLING.    ???

Lund has 2 product lines not Sun and Moon visor (older more angular style) and the Solar and Lunar visors that are supposed to be more streamlined to match the lines of the newer trucks.  The Solar/Lunar require no drilling into the roof panel.  The only drilling is in the door jam.  I think this is what I want to go with but I'd like to see some better pics.  Haven't looked at JPCust. yet.  Thats next.

Thanks

Yeah, the newer ones are the ones I was refering too.  They look cleaner/smoother than the older ones, in my opinion.  :)

Dihappy posted a picture of a lifted stepside in the picture post forum that had some kind of visor on it, not sure of the brand though.  The picture doesn't show up for me here at work, but it did the other day at home.  Here's the link:  Lifted Stepside with visor

The Solar and Luna are the newer ones Im talking about AND YOU HAVE TO DRILL TWO HOLES INTO THE ROOF AND THREE ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOOR JAM..Total of 3 Holes on each side. I did not mind the Door Jam, so that is why I placed the order with J.C. Whitney to get the newer visor (Solar and Luna)

So the BOTTOM LINE is the NEW MODEL VISORS REQUIRE DRILLING INTO ROOF!!!!!!!!!!!
