Storm Grey Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 When I purchased my truck it had a set of nice chromed aluminum "Advantage" rims. They are the kind of rims that have a cap that covers the lug nuts and everything. The caps are fit to the design of the rim. Well I am assuming they are Advantage brand because it says Advantage Alloys on the center cap. This is the only thing it says anywhere on the rims. Has any one ever her of the brand Advantage for rims? If so do you know where I can find informtion on them? ??? :ehh:
kaspar139 Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 Never heard of em...I even did a search on www.Google.com, and it didn't look good. They are probably just a knock off of a name brand. Do you have any pics?
Storm Grey Posted April 17, 2002 Author Posted April 17, 2002 I don't have any pics right now, I am planning on putting some pics on after I lift the truck this upcomming weekend.
Storm Grey Posted April 23, 2002 Author Posted April 23, 2002 I found the rims. They sell them at Les Schwab tire centers. I think they are only in Idaho and Utah, not sure. They sell the 16X8 (which mine are) for $240. I don't mind these rims but I would like to get some different ones. If any one would give me around $150 a peace (not sure yet what I would have to have out of them) I would get ride of them. They are in good condition. Right now I do not have any pictures of them on the truck, but I have put the link below to where you can view the rim on Les Schwab's web page. http://www.lesschwab.com/w3lsnet/businessl...print.asp?id=84
