New Truck Owner - Needs Jack Placement Help!

The owners manual shows the correct jack location as on the rear axle between the shock mount & Ubolt spring anchor. The factory supplied jack does not fit between the shock mount & spring anchor to reach the axle --- it gets wedged. Where do I really need to put the jack?

Welcome aboard I can't answer your question. I, myself, have alway's used a floor jack.

Welcome, a lot of guys will lift the rear using the differential as the lift point.

Why not just buy a floor jack? So much easier than messing with that POS.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
