#1 Complaint Of Nbs Silverado

hope to be getting a new or gently used f150 of 1500 chevy soon. i have always liked the looks of the 04+ fords and hated the chevy interior for some reason. so until the nbs came out never really thought about the chevys. - whatever i end up with will be with me likely for the lifetime of the truck. the thread on the ford site was really informative and a little disheartening. looking for some input from those in the know and after reading through some of the other chevy forums i liked this one most. my decision will be either extended cab or crew for sure and debating on the 4 wheel drive. also mention the best of your truck too. thanks

Both good trucks, here you'll find nothing but praise about GM. I'd recommend taking both out for long test drives and pick the one YOU like better.

The biggest complaint with the GMT900 trucks is that the cloth seats are lint traps. However, GM has claimed they have remedied the problem and will replace the seat covers free of charge under warranty. Otherwise some guys complain about lifter noise on cold start ups. Not every truck is affected by this though.

Otherwise there have been some other minor issues, but GM has put out TSB's on most of these issues to take care of the problem.

If i were to chose from the 08's i'd say chevy/gmc but if your talking an 09 f150 by chance, those things are sweet. 3 more inches of leg room in the back of their crew cab makes a big difference and the front end is like the super duty's. Either way you can't go wrong.

I really have no complaints. I absolutely love my GMT900 (NBS) Silverado!!! I don't admit this very often, but I used to be a diehard ford man.

I have an 07 Crew Cab LTZ, 2 wheel drive that I look forward to driving every day. One of my employees has a 2006 F150 CC 4X4 that he bought about a week before I bought my truck and after riding in and driving my truck he is thinking about getting rid of his truck.

I personally don't think ford improved there looks with the 09's. I think it was a step backwards. I don't know what they were thinking with the tail lights.

GM's interior is the best truck interior on the market. The lint trap seats I believe have been fixed on the late 08's and 09's.

Go drive both and let us know what you think.

Make sure to post some pics when you buy your GM.
