Factory Auxillary Switches

I was just wondering if Gm has a On/Off switch that you can buy to put into one of your dash openings (or if someone has installed something that looks good/factory)?

My '09 dash has an open slot in the middle with the Traction Control On/Off switch/push button in the left side. I was hoping that GM has something that looks similar that fits in the same slot but just to the right of the TC switch.

Also any other switch ideas welcomed. I will try to post pictures of my dash tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

What I do is go to the wrecking yard and look at similar vehicles and will find switches like this, then use them for my gadgets. I don't know how old your same style truck goes back. But with my older truck, I can pull parts from Chevy's and suburbans as well as GMC.

Also try looking in your owners manual and see if there is an accessory switch there for something you don't have. Then just go to GM and order that part. Most owner's manuals have instructions for everything.

Here's what I did,not OEM but I think looks OK... one for Aux. cooling fan,the other for the off-road lights

how do you make it smaller

In photobucket, click on the "edit" button, and then the "resize" option. You might want to crop some of the 'empty' space out, too.

This is the NNBS switch for the aux. lights. It comes with the snow plow prep package.

Even though it is on the roof, at least it's a factory switch. I don't think they have one

for the console next to the traction switch.

You could get the switch for the power adjust pedals, which goes beside the traction control switch, but Im assuming it might be a momentary switch? I know the parts diagram would help you.

Cool pic though...

I have the perfect switch, but it is in a GMT800 dash.

I have a truck almost identical to yours that I need to add switches to. Can you share some info on this? Thanks.
